Make the repair specific
A useful repair proposal explains the affected area, the intended work and any limits of the repair. Roof condition, available materials and access can influence what is practical.

- Flashing concerns near walls and chimneys.
- Recurring issues after a previous repair.
- Assessment of whether broader roof work should be considered.
A repair or a replacement?
A targeted repair may suit a localized issue, while repeated problems or broader deterioration may call for a different plan.
