Chimneys, walls and penetrations interrupt a roof surface. Flashing details at these locations deserve careful review when a leak appears and when a roof is replaced. Reusing a detail without considering its condition can leave a question unresolved.

Share the location of the issue, previous repair history and any visible symptoms. A site assessment helps determine the appropriate roofing work and whether another trade needs to be involved.
